สิ้นสุดการรอคอยสำหรับสมาร์ทโฟนเกมส์มิ่งจากค่าย ASUS ROG ถ้ากล่าวถึงแบรนด์ ROG ( Repubilic of Gamers ) ทุกคนจะต้องนึกถึงสินค้าที่ถูกออกแบบมาสำหรับเกมส์เมอร์โดยเฉพาะ ซึ่งจะมีความแรงและประสิทธิภาพสูงกว่าสินค้าทั่วไป มาถึงฝั่งสมาร์ทโฟนกันซักทีสำหรับ ROG Phone เมื่อมีตรา ROG ประทับอยู่กับตัวสินค้า ความเหนือกว่าสมาร์ทโฟนทั่วไปก็คงหลีกหนีไม่พ้น ความเร็วและแรงขึ้นนั้นเอง แต่ไม่ใช่แค่ความแรง แต่ทาง ROG Phone ได้อัดฟังก์ชั่นต่างๆมาให้แบบล้นกล้องจริงๆ เดี๋ยวเราไปดูว่ามีอะไรที่น่าสนใจกันบ้าง
ROG Phone มาพร้อมกับชิปประมวลผล Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 ที่ได้รับการโอเวอร์คล็อกพิเศษ ให้ความเร็วสูงสุด 2.96 GHz (จากความเร็วปกติที่ 2.80 GHz) ทำงานร่วมกับ GPU Adreno 630และหน่วยความจำ LPDDR4 ขนาด 8GB มาพร้อมระบบระบายความร้อน Game Cool ที่ใช้ 3D vapor-chamber (ช่องระบายความร้อนด้วยไอน้ำ) ผสานการทำงานกับเทคโนโลยี AeroActive Cooler (ถอดออกได้) ที่ให้ความเย็นแก่ตัวเครื่องอย่างดีเยี่ยม
AeroActive Cooler สามารถปรับระดับความเร็วของตัวพัดลมได้ และเมื่อต้องการเล่นเกมส์เพียงปรับไปที่ Game Center และปรับไปที่ X-Mode ตัวซีพียูก็จะเพิ่มความเร็วไปที่ 2.96 GHz ให้โดยทันที ภายในแอพศูนย์เกมส์ยังสามารถปรับตั้งค่าโปรไฟล์ของแต่ละเกมส์ได้เช่นกัน ปรับแสงไฟ RGB ให้แสดงสถานะตามที่ต้องการ รวมไปถึงการแจ้งเตือนต่างๆ ตั้งแต่อุณหภูมิ / การแจ้งเตือนเมื่อสายเข้า / ดูค่า FPS เป็นแอ๊พสำหรับเกมส์เมอร์ตัวจริงโดยเฉพาะ
Game Genie เป็นคำสั่งการใช้งานของปุ่มพิเศษบนหน้าจอ เช่น การเซ็ทปุ่มมาโคร / ปุ่ม lock mode หรือแม้แต่ปุ่มด้านข้างตัวเครื่อง( AirTriggers )
หน่วยความจำ RAM LPDDR 4X ขนาด 8 GB และหน่วยความจำภายใน(ROM) จะมีให้เลือกสองขนาด UFS2.1 ขนาด 128 / 512 GB

เมื่อมีเครื่องแรงแล้ว ปัจจัยสำคัญคือต้องมีพลังงานที่เพียงพอ ROG Phone มากับขนาดแบตเตอร์รี่ 4,000 mAh
IC Charger ย้ายจากตัวเครื่องไปฝังอยู่ในตัว Adapter นะครับ ทำให้เวลาชาร์จไปเล่นไป ตัวเครื่องจะได้ไม่ร้อน เพิ่มความปลอดภัยในการใช้งานขณะชาร์จแบตได้ ทาง ASUS เรียกว่าระบบ HyperCharge รองรับการชาร์จทั้งหมด 3 อย่าง Direct Charger / Quick Charge 4.0 / power delivery 3.0

หน้าจอแสดงผล
ROG Phone มากับหน้าจอ AMOLED ขนาด 6 นิ้ว ความละเอียด FHD+ 2160×1080 ให้รีเฟรชเรทสูง 90Hz และการตอบสนองในการแสดงผล (response time) ที่รวดเร็ว 1 ms , อัตราคอนทราสต์ที่ 100,000:1 และการแสดงช่วงสีที่กว้างถึงระดับ 108.6% DCI-P3 การแสดงของสีจะตรงเท่ากับตามองเห็นทั่วไป สีจัดจ้าน สดใสแน่นอน สีดำก็จะดำสนิท และที่ผมชอบสุดคือ เทคโนโลยี HDR visuals ชิปประมวลผลสำหรับการแสดง HDR แยกต่างหาก สามารถแสดงผล HDR ตลอดเวลาแบบ real time ทำให้การแสดงผลหน้าจอยิ่งสวยงามยิ่งขึ้นเก็บรายละเอียดในสภาวะแสงต่างๆได้ ไม่ว่าจะดูรูปภาพ ดูหนัง เล่นเกมส์
